The beautiful coast of Cambrils, Spain hosted an epic Dragon World Series Event. With 11 teams turning out in full force to conquer the new team sport, the energy from participants and spectators were high.

The course was a challenging running start, sprint to the buoy and back, all whilst paddling against the wind. The conditions caused the rules to be downgraded to allow paddlers to kneel at the start before finding their balance and standing. All teams showed spirit and camaraderie but only one team could be champion.

The winners of the event were

1. Carlos Alsina, Andres Anzueta, Carlos Lopez, Jesus Platas

2. Montse Maria Caro, Fernando Figueras, Gregorio Alberto, Juanjo Martinez

3. Aturo Yague, Jordi Sangremos, Latia Teascher, Alfronso Torreno
